Parishes offer RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation) programs in the fall. RCIA participants become Catholics during the Easter Vigil.

The BEST way to find a local RCIA program is to go to www.MassTimes.org and put your zip code in.

Find a church and contact the office for information on how to begin the program.

Lay Ministries

Become a volunteer

Catholics volunteer in many ways.  How are you called?

Catholics are active in so many different ministries!  Feed the hungry, care for the elderly, prayer ministries, make rosaries, PRO-LIFE activities, work with a grief ministry, read out to the needy, work with addicts or a prison ministry.  You could host a prayer or bible study group, make prayer blankets.

There is always a need for lay volunteers in the church to sing in the choir, distribute communion, working with forming the faith of the young or new Catholics.
